Willard Morgan and The Ideal Orchestra

Image“Ideal Orkestra” was founded by musician and tunesmith Willard Morgan. Socially engaged and fashion conscious, Morgan created and performed the one-man rock musical, “Saint Hollywood” based on the lives of the denizens of the Boulevard (Edinburgh Fringe ), and “Jelvis” the Jewish Elvis appearing in New York (B.B. King’s, the Highline), Los Angeles (Gengis Cohen, M Bar Comedy Store) and Paris (La Scala, La Gillotine).  His collaboration with fashion designer Uta Bekaia took him to Williamsburg Fashion Weekend, Fashion Art Toronto, and most recently creating “Sweat Shop Boogie,” a song cycle and art installation, composed by John Sully, exploring the domestic and global impact of humanity’s obsession with fashion.
