Anne McDermott is a storyteller, writer and avid Brooklynite. An active member of the NYC storytelling community, she’s performed at The Moth, TALE, So What Happened Was, The Nest Brooklyn and other illustrious and not so illustrious stages. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Daily Beast, Providence Journal, The Belladonna Comedy and elsewhere. Her solo show Temp to Perm was developed with Emmy award winning playwright, Matt Hoverman and performed in New York City. She was an unwitting contestant on the game show Ca$h Cab and is the creator and host of the Brooklyn reading series, Sweet Reads.
