Manhattanwriter-raconteur Kathryn Adisman, aka K, is creator/producer/host of three spoken word and music series at Cornelia Street Cafe: “Tapping into New York”; “What Were the ’60s REALLY Like?” and “Ghost City Cabaret,” which culminates in an upcoming Winter Solstice show December 21st.
K has been a featured reader at the Saturn series, abc no rio, and Monologues and Madness. She created the virtual mini-tour: “K’s New York: Going, Going, Gone” for City Lore’s City of Memory website and published stories about disappearing Downtown places in The Villager.
While working at People, she didn’t own a TV and teaching Feldenkrais® in NYU’s gym she’s crippled with arthritis – among the Ripley’s Believe It or Not ironies of her life.
