JoAnn Willette is best known for appearing in the role of Constance “Connie” Lubbock in the television series Just the Ten of Us from 1988 to 1990. She has also made appearances on a number of other series including Growing Pains, Melrose Place, Chicago Hope, Becker, ER,The Young and the Restless, Private Practice, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and most recently had a recurring role on Nickelodeon’s hit “Victorious.” She’s appeared in such movies as “A Nightmare on Elm Street, Part 2” and “Real Genius” and was “the video girl” in the 1985 music video titled, “Your Love” by The Outfield. JoAnn graduated as a playwriting major in 2011 from UCLA’s Theater, Film and Television department, where she won “The George Burns and Gracie Allen Comedy Writing Award” for her full length play “Stuff.” Other writing honors include placing as a quarterfinalist in “The 2013 International Page Screenwriting Awards” for her comedy feature “Will to Live,” and also as a quarterfinalist in the TV Format competition in “The 2013 Final Draft’s Big Break Screenwriting Awards” for her TV Half- Hour Spec Script: Nurse Jackie: “Naked in High Heels.”
Jo was invited to perform her solo show The Jo Show as part of the United Solo Festival on Oct 19th, 9:00PM at the Theatre Row Theatre.
