Ron Brawer
Ron Brawer is a Manhattan-based screenwriter, Jets fan, and serious drinker. His screenplay, Stand Fast, was optioned by Danny DeVito. It’s a funny story about a military coup in America. Brawer does other stuff. His band performed regularly at CBGBs. He studied acting with Uta Hagen, improv with Del Close, and, in one harrowing experience, performed six minutes of stand-up at Gotham Comedy Club. He humbly requests that – at around five minutes into tonight’s story – the bartender will begin preparing him a vodka martini, straight up, very dry, very cold, with a twist.
