Robyn is new to the New York area and new to the spoken word world, although for the last 16 years as a yoga teacher-, she realized her conversations with her students were actually monologues…stories about real life. As the teacher talks and the students listen…Robyn engages her students in story telling and thoughts on life through conversation and rhetorical questions. Robyn’s main goal in sharing her stories is to illuminate the similarities in all of us, minimizing the feelings of being alone and isolated.
She’s currently working on an autobiographical one-woman play.
