Nancy is new to the storytelling performance scene in New York City, however, she is not new to storytelling. Nancy has studied storytelling for many years, and teaches a course about Narrative: The Use of Storytelling in Organizations to undergraduates at New York University.
Nancy first became interested in personal storytelling as a result of conducting research for her doctoral dissertation about how comedians learn to use humor to raise awareness and consciousness of social and political issues. She hosts monthly storytelling home concerts in Jackson Heights, NY and hopes you’ll come.
