Alison Grambs is a performer, humor essayist, and the author of: “The Man Translator: Your Essential Guide To Manland” (featured on the “Today” show) and “The Smart Girl’s Guide To Getting Even” (Citadel Press) as well as several children’s joke books (Sterling Publishing.) As a homely tween she played “Pepper” in the 2nd National Tour of “Annie” and later studied Drama and the art of rolling around the floor in a leotard and tights at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. A graduate of Haverford College with a degree in English Literature, she performed comedy improvisation with “Chicago City Limits” and has appeared in a couple of commercials no one ever saw. For many years she worked at the legendary Friars Club as a staff writer and producer, as well as Director of Membership. .Humorwriters.org, and her personal blog, www. NapoleonWasQuiteTall.com. Alison’s newest book will be releasing shortly-an off-beat collection of personal essays with a wacky twist. She and her adorable husband live in New York City with their new rescue pup, and spend much of their time road-tripping around the country, either by car, motorcycle, or with a flock of pigeons.
